Wisdom to be imparted:
  - Current ASM board - Please feel free to share your thoughts with the new ASM board

Potluck:
  - On Dec3rd
  - Christine will send out the address of the appartment
  - All ASM board members will bring gifts for White Elephant game

Snow Day:
  - 43 people
  - First come first serve basis
  - Kristine will send out the notice next week

ASM 360:
  - Send out the results to Christine by tonight

Becky's Holiday Wishes:
  - Becky wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving

Class Information Sharing:
  - Conduct the event in January and take notes
  - Dustin will collect the information

New Business:
  - Fridge has to be cleaned before we leave for the break
  - Kevin can help doing that
  - GSM Ambassador program - Christine will send out the document
  - A member of the ASM board can be in-charge of the Ambassador program - Community Relations person

Potluck for ASM board:
  - On Dec 3rd at 8.00pm at Tanglewood appartments
  - Google docs is up for the potluck food

Second Year Representatives:
  - Congratulations to Zack and Marianne

Cowmoonicator:
  - Can meet the exchange students for a dicussion

ASM 360:
  - Going well so far
  - Send the results to Christine before Thanksgiving (Nov 26th)

By-laws:
  - Annual budget  for thw following academic year must be presented to the ASM board prior to the eighth week of spring quarter

Becky's time:
  - End of the year event on Dec 4th from 3.00-5.00pm in Room 174
  - Feel free to bring your family and friends
  - For supplies in the meeting room, contact project instructions department
  - For supplies in the lounge, Becky is the contact person
  - Ideas for bi-weekly newslatter - feel free to send to Becky

Early thanksgiving:
  - Andy needs help with plates, cups and sodas
  - Suggestion for students to bring their own dishes

Additional club funding:
  - Every year, each club gets $300
  - Clubs can request extra money upto $200 per year(if there are additional events)
  - Big Bang has requested additional $200 - Decided OK by ASM board members to provide additional funds

Budget:

  - Last year's budget is closed now
  - Surplus of $907 from last year which will get carried over to this year

New Board on ASM Alias List: 
  - The new board is on the ASM alias list
  - Thanks Becky

Winding Down:
  - The new ASM board will officially take up the bank account on Dec 11th
  - New Leader Orientation on Jan 6th at 3.00pm - 5.00pm
  - Current ASM board will meet the new ASM board sometime in the first week of January to discuss their experience in the ASM board

Meeting Minutes : 05-November-2008

ASM Potluck:
- Sometime in the end of November or immediately after finals
- Christine will send out a survey to find a convenient time for all the ASM board members
- Venue - Kristine's or Becky's appartment

Second Year Representatives:
- 2 co-positions
- 2nd years will vote for 2 members and the top two will serve as representatives

Election De-brief:
- Suggestion to first fill up the President positions in all the clubs and then move on to vote for other positions
- This may help people prioritize the clubs they want to be in
- Google docs was one of the reasons why many students didn't nominate themselves for chair positions
- New ASM board members are welcome to the ASM meetings from Nov 19th

Coffee Talks
- Christine has sent the coffee talk assignments.
- All the coffee talk feedback to be e-mailed to Christine by Dec 1st

ASM e-mail distribution list:
- Becky can add all the new ASM board members to the ASM e-mail list.
- Becky Heard and James Stevens are also in the list.

Workshops:
- Suggestion to include workshops on writing marketing plan/financial plan/advanced excel/powerpoint
