Meeting minutes - 5/14/2007

Clubs:

• Brian Hoblit was present to talk about Mom's and Dad's Club. After a lot of cross-questioning the board decided that the board will prepare a provisional list of items that Brian H. will have to meet before the 'Mom's and Dad's Club' can be incorporated as a student club. In addition the board decided to reimburse approx $150 as startup fees to Brain Hoblit for his efforts in bringing the club together.
• The Tech club is unofficially suspended for now as the club has not shown any activity this quarter. In addition interested parties were connected via email for transfer of club information and other logistics. Any new incoming tech club officer will have to meet the minimum requirements of the by-laws before being declared active.

Goals:
For the end of the term?

• Room 174/224 key checkout policy
• Projector checkout policy
• New event pics
• Bulletin board updates
• Buddies 2nd years with 1st years

For Fall term?

• Bank recommendation
• 100% ASM membership of incoming students
• International student welcome
• Increased participation by 2nd years
• Coffee talks

- Club presentation schedule on May 21st
- End of year party on June 2nd

GSM IT committee
- Wikistyle webpages is preferred by many. This issue will be taken up wth the GSM IT folks for consideration.
