C4C Weekend--April 28-30, 2006

This fun-filled weekend, hosted by the Stanford GSB, is the culmination
of our year of volunteering and fund raising with MBA Challenge for
Charity. Come join eight other west coast business schools for three
days of sporting events, social events, and fun!

C4C Weekend will be Friday, April 28 through Sunday, April 30 at
Stanford. Registration is $50 per person until April 15th, and $60 after
that. Significant others are welcome to attend. Please contact Paige

weekend.

2nd Annual C4C Chili Cookoff!

That's right, it's time for the second annual MBA Challenge for Charity
Chili Cookoff!

The cookoff will be Monday, April 17th, at Sophia's (129 E Street in
Davis). Not only will we have tons of fun, but we will raise money for
the kids!! This is also a Tournament of Champions event (first years
versus second years).

The event officially starts at 8pm, and the judging should start at
9:30 or so. There will be a small cover charge (probably $2, and all of
it goes to charity), and there will be drink specials, not to mention
chili tasting!

All proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Sacramento and Special
Olympics. Come on out and do it for the kids!

Courtyard Social: Thursday, April 20th at 5:00

There’s going to be a social next Thursday, April 20^th, at 5:00 in the courtyard outside AOB IV. If it’s raining we’ll move into AOB 174. The plan is to have food and drinks between 5:00-6:00. At 6:15 we’ll be showing the Enron video “Enron: The smartest guys in the room”. Afterwards, at 8:15, our very own Brad Barber will lead a discussion about the video so that we can learn more about what happened with Enron and take questions.
